Description

In the far, far north, Pikiq finds paint, paintbrushes and a book with pictures of tropical animals and faraway places, abandoned in the deep snow. Inspired, he draws fantastic creatures everywhere, and color bursts onto the white landscape.

About the Author

Yayo has illustrated many children’s books. He has been nominated for the highly esteemed Governor General’s Award and has won the Mr. Christie’s Book Award. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, with his wife and family.
